BELDON® is pleased to be honored by the San Antonio Business Journal with a 2019 Family-Owned Business Award. This award celebrates multi-generational, family-owned businesses for overall excellence, innovation, ethics, and philanthropy. We are ecstatic to be recognized for a long history of supporting our local community and providing industry-leading home improvement services.
A Fourth-Generation, Family-Owned Company
BELDON was founded by patriarch Morry Beldon in 1946 after he returned from serving under Army General George Patton in World War II. In 2019, 73 years later, his great-granddaughter joined the family business, marking a fourth-generation milestone.
Supporting the Community Since 1946
“Our whole philosophy from the beginning has been to help the community,” says Brad Beldon, Morry’s grandson and current CEO. “If not us, who?”
Indeed, that philosophy has been at the forefront of everything we do, from serving on civic and community boards, such as the Edwards Aquifer Authority board, to helping local homeowners improve their homes with exceptional products and outstanding service. One recent project that exemplifies our commitment to the community and to putting customers first is our restoration of the iconic terra-cotta dome of Temple Beth-El in San Antonio. The stakes were high for members of the temple due to the dome’s cultural significance, and BELDON delivered.
We’d like to thank the San Antonio Business Journal for honoring us with the 2019 Family-Owned Business Award, and we look forward to many more years of serving the San Antonio, Texas, community. To learn more about our company, contact BELDON today.
