BELDON® Roofing Company is dedicated to promoting great roofing products that align with environment considerations and the energy needs of future generations. That’s why we take great care to offer energy efficient roofing materials at competitive prices. Whether your needs are commercial or residential, we have roofing materials that can increase your comfort levels and lower your energy costs. Here are a few of the energy-efficient materials available in our service areas.

HeatBLOC

This radiant heat barrier is applied to the underside of your roof’s decking to help prevent heat transfer from the exterior into the attic. Since it is a liquid, it is easy to apply and does not interfere with your home’s cellular and other electronic signals the way that foil-based barriers can. Using this product can save you as much as 15 percent on cooling costs.

Metal Roofing

Metal is a naturally energy-efficient roofing material. The inherent reflectivity in metal prevents the sun’s rays from heating your attic. While all metal roofs will reduce heat absorption, lighter colors reflect the most heat.

Asphalt Shingles

Some asphalt shingles can be energy-efficient too. By coating their shingles with highly reflective granules and making them in lighter colors, Owens Corning has designed an Energy Star rated asphalt shingle that reduces heat transfer to your home’s interior. Solar Shingles

DOW POWERHOUSE™ shingles are roofing shingles that perform like regular roofing shingles. At the same time, they produce electricity for your home. These grid-tied shingles save you money by reducing the amount of electricity you buy from your local utility company. Some utilities will even purchase your excess kilowatts, increasing your energy savings.

AttiCat

A properly functioning attic is fundamental to the health and longevity of your roofing system. Adding insulation to your attic is always a good idea. But, not all insulations are created equal. The secret to a great attic insulation is making sure that there are plenty of air pockets to block heat transfer and that the insulation stays “fluffy.” AttiCat does both, enhancing your home’s ability to keep you cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter while lowering energy costs.
